"Mike Plunket's response to Frank Molver"

Hello Mike,

I spent the first  portion of my life as a Roman Catholic so Sunday Mass was mandatory.  Followed by about 10 years of no church attendance.  Then I became a born-again Christian and attended the Assembly of God for about 35 years.  So, you and Frank, both, can see that I know the routine.  I never questioned why we went to church on Sunday, assuming that the churches knew more than I did.  Even after 35 years of studying the Bible, I would skip over the subject of the Sabbath.  That was for the Israelites and had nothing to do with a Christian, right?

Yet, the Book of Romans is full of scripture telling the Gentiles not to be haughty over their salvation and that the Lord was not done with Israel yet.

The Book of Hebrews teaches the Israelites that the Gentiles are now also Israelites  because of Yehusha.  The bottom line is one is no different of one or the other because of the Grace extended to both Jew and Gentile.   They, as well as the Gentiles, must repent and accept the finished work on the cross.  The Church has not replaced the Jews; in fact the Wild Olive tree was grafted into the Natural Olive Tree of whose Root is Yehusah HaMashiac.  See Romans 11:16-21  So, I ask....

"When did God rescind His original Commandment to "Remember to Keep Holy the Sabbath?"  He didn't, it was man that did!  No official Word came down from the Father concerning any change, did it?  To assume that Yehusah arose on a Sunday, God must mean that, now He has changed the Day of Rest to the First Day, is falling right in line with what the Bible says about there being many 'antichrists' and that he would even change the times.  He (that antichrist system) did just that when the Roman Empire mixed pagan gods and their worship days to NOW be Christian.

Notice the teaching of Yehusah in Mark 2:23-28. Yehusah allowed His disciples to pluck heads of grain to eat as they walked through grain fields on the Sabbath. He was challenged on this point by the Pharisees, who had added more than 60 legalistic "dos and don'ts" to the Sabbath—of their own human devising. But Yehusah said, "The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath. Therefore the Son of Man is also Lord of the Sabbath" (vv. 27-28).

Christ did not say that the Sabbath was made for the Jews—but for "man." Mark 2:27  Is the Gentile a man also?  Or does he remain a dog (a heathen?)  No,  He became a child of God through his being grafted into the Olive Tree.  He said the Sabbath (not Sunday) is the day of which He is "Lord." So, it is clear that Jehusha did not give the slightest hint about abrogating the Sabbath commandment. Rather, He showed how to keep the Sabbath in a more meaningful way. Again, Yehusha said that the Sabbath was "made for man"—for him to keep—LONG BEFORE the Israelites even existed.

The Sabbath is forever. We are our forefather Abraham’s seed
(See Genesis 2:3, Exodus 31:16-17 & Romans 4:11-18)

There is just one covenant of promise, not two. There is not a way for the Israelites to obtain salvation, and another for the Gentiles. There is not a Sabbath for the Israelites to keep and different method or day of reverence toward God for the Non-Israelites. After Yehusa HaMashiac broke down the dividing wall, He left just one family, and one doctrine anchored by the same patriarchs (See Ephesians 2:19-20).

Thank you Mike for your stand on this Truth.  gerlinda

"Response to Frank Molver......Mathew 28:1....The SABBATH is SATURDAY!!!!"
Dear Frank,

Please do not try to correct the TRUTH! I DO study the scriptures and know when the Lord has shown me a TRUTH! I will try to temper my resentment, but I feel very Strongly about this subject matter as I am very thorough in my studies and do not take it lightly when putting forth what I feel the Lord has shown me. Please read it for yourself, it IS straight from the scriptures of the HOLY BIBLE.

Mathew 28:1.......In the end of the Sabbath,

(Notice it starts out by telling us that the SABBATH has ended!!!)

Mathew 28:1 Cont'd........as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week,

(Your worship day!! The FIRST day of the week, SUNDAY!)

Mathew 28:1 Cont'd...........came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the Sepulchre.

You want more TRUTH.....read it in Mark 16:1.......And when the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Sa-lo'me, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him.

Mark 16:2.......And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun.

FRANK, Sunday is the FIRST DAY OF THE WEEK!!!!!!!!!! The above scriptures CLEARLY prove that SATURDAY is the SABBATH!! It

just so happens that it is ALSO the SEVENTH day of the week!

My GOD and Father is Jehovah! My saviour, the Son of Jehovah is Jesus Christ, and my comforter is the Holy Ghost! And I will keep the SEVENTH day of the week unto my God, for it is his SABBATH!

Contemplate THAT!

And by the way, I do NOT follow ANY RELIGIOUS organization on this planet. I follow JESUS CHRIST! So do NOT JUDGE as ye will be judged.

Oh ya, what about the rest of my post on Christmas and Easter? You want to spar over that? A little Bible study and Contemplation will reveal the TRUTH.

YBIC,

Michael
