I too and many others have become attached to beloved pets.........in my case, dogs.
 
It would not be consistent with the way God IS, for us to not have our Relationships with our beloved pets restored. That is my understanding of 'how' God IS.
 
If He gave us His Son and He says ''how shall He not with Him give us ALL good things?
 
If God withheld any ''good thing'' after Giving Us His Son, it would mean that other ''gift'' is more valuable than His Son, and brethren that cannot be true!! His nature is to Give US along with His Son, ALL GOOD THINGS.
 
Look at it like this. If you were God and ''could'' have an a beloved pet restored to you forever.................would YOU do it? Well, are you better than God? I KNOW and am Convinced that our relationships with our beloved pets will, without a doubt be restored.
 
After all, it is God Himself who created animals like dogs and made them the way they are so we could enjoy them in this life.............and what a joy they are!!
 
May we  all rest in the full assurance and comfort of what the nature of our loving God IS.
 
Clay I tell you with full assurance that you will have not just '' 16 years of love and wonderfulness'' but will have everlasting years of love and wonderfulness with your dog.
