about Satan being one of the fallen angels that went
into the daughters of men and produced the giants,
Satan was not chained up under darkness until the
great judgment day like the angels in Jude 1:6-7
which says, "And the angels which kept not
their first estate, but left their own habitation,
he hath reserved in everlasting chains under
darkness unto the judgment of the great day. Even as
Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in
like manner, giving themselves over to fornication,
and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an
example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire."
We know that Satan wasn't chained up with
those angels described in Jude 1:6-7 because Job
1:6-7 says, "Now there was a day when the sons of
God came to present themselves before the LORD, and
Satan came also among them. And the LORD said unto
Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the
LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth,
and from walking up and down in it."
