Hi Don,In reply to your 4/20 post at http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/apr2012/donh420.htm in regards to your concept that Jesus and John the Baptist were the Two Witnesses in Rev. 11, and your thinking this was fulfilled in the past during a 3 1/2 yr. ministry on earth, Jesus and John the Baptist are never described in books of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John as having fire coming out of their mouths to destroy their enemies who try to hurt them so they can't be the Two Witnesses described in Rev. 11:5 which says, "And if any man hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed."I also don't recall any Bible scripture that showed Jesus ever wearing sackcloth either in his previous ministry on earth, and both the Two Witnesses in Rev. 11:3 wear sackcloth. It would be impossible to erase or eliminate Rev. 11:3 and Rev. 11:5 from the description of the Two Witnesses since Rev. 22:19 says, "And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book." So I don't think that Jesus and John the Baptist were the Two Witnesses described in Rev. 11.
