Thanks for you comments. Do you agree then that the ‘yoke of bondage’ is not the law itself but the attempt to secure salvation through obedience to the law instead of through faith?

 
Is the “Freedom from the law” you mentioned freedom from obeying the law or freedom from the penalty of the law (death)? I simply ask because all I can find in the NT is repeated mention of how Messiah took away the curse or punishment of the law but no mention of him saying we are free to disobey the law.
