"A Word of
Encouragement"
Dear Five Doves, A few weeks ago it
seemed as though many of us were getting a little frayed around
the edges, either having differing opinions and beliefs about
certain topics or differing thoughts as to whether such subjects
as Sons of God and Daughters of Men, etc., etc., were important
topics of study. Some thoughts came to mind, but as it really
did seem as though "liftoff" was near, my two cents worth didn't
seem important. I do want to share a bit with you all, however.
You, John and all Five Doves, are very important to me. I am
extremely blessed to be able to check in every day to see what
the Five Doves have to say. Having you is like having a second
church.
Christians are the body of Christ. We are different body parts
and have different jobs and assignments to carry out in these
last days. For some of us, the simple salvation message is all
important and the only thing we feel drawn to, bringing in souls
for the remaining harvest. For others, subjects such as the
nephilim, UFOs, the NWO are really key to their learning and
even worship. I personally love stuff like that, because it
answers so many questions - how were the Pyramids constructed,
for instance (giants, of course!), or what about dinosaurs,
anyway? The flying wheels in Ezekiel? What is more fascinating
than watching Chuck Missler on God TV? As for the New World
Order, are our presidents really elected, or are they selected?
Daniel 12:4 says that in the last days knowledge will increase.
We are there, brothers and sisters. I believe all these topics
are a fufillment of that in some way. Anything outside of living
out God's plan for our life is subject to error, but at the same
time, much of it is mentioned in Scripture, in what has down
through the centuries been some "obscure" little passage that
was read, not understood and promptly forgotten.
I remember my grandma reading Chariots of the Gods, quite
revolutionary for a middle America grandmother, a real salt of
the earth type. I asked her what she thought about it, and she
said, "Well, I don't know!" Things such as this are here
physically in the earth, and there is no reason to think God
isn't aware of how it all came about.
But - this is very important - if you don't think it is for you
to study, trust that God is giving you discernment about how to
walk out your Christian life. We most likely aren't going to all
be interested in this stuff, or we would all be at the library
(smile). We each have our assignment, and God draws us to that
assignment. If you are into all these subjects, great. If you
aren't, also great. There is much to be done. Let's be at peace
as much as possible, and not limit the Holy Spirit's work in our
lives.
I would like to comment on something Nicole said recently about
things she read in a book several years ago, things in society
that were planned at the time and we know they are here now.
Amen, sister. About ten years ago, I came across a copy of The
Late Great Planet Earth, and I thought it would be a hoot to
reread it. (I read it in the '70s, when I was in high school.)
Well, "hoot" wasn't exactly how I felt about it after I had
finished. TLGPE is full of things that I was sure wouldn't see
earth until all Christians had been raptured and the Tribulation
was here, and these things are commonplace today. They have been
commonplace for years. It is so very late in the game, let's all
endeavor to be on the same page and get the job done - no matter
what our individual assignments may be. God Bless, and I love
you all, Cynthia
