The short answer is pride is not in heaven.  Pretensiousness is not in heaven.
 
Little children are sincere.  They don't try to manipulate people like so many adult businessmen do.
 
I grew up in a business minded family and was manipulated by these people for years before I grew up.  I know how crafty the devil and his people can be.
 
The bottom line is when you see your brothers and sisters dancing and singing in heaven you will see what Matthew 18:3 is all about.
