"My Dwelling Place in Heaven"

Readers -

this is more of a personal post.

Years ago my wife bought a small print at some antique shop. I have scanned it and attached it to this email.

It's a painting by a French painter name E. Rene His. He lived 1877-1960. Many paintings of his are online -but I can't find this one. Hope I don't, actually.

Ever since I saw this small painting I've really been drawn to it. In times of great distress over the years, I often found myself staring at this image.

Years later, my wife also found and bought a large print of this painting which hangs in my house now.

This particular painting has played a spiritual role in my life, and I'm completely convinced its my place in Heaven. That may be too much for some readers. I've often asked the Lord to come take me to Heaven for a while and the two of us take a leisurely walk along this river. It surely can't be that difficult.  : )

Of course, I hope my old dog will come along.  We had to say goodbye to her last year after 16 years of love and wonderfulness.

I hope this is a blessing to someone. I felt led to post it.
