Matthew 24:28

"For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together."

 

Until you understand Matthew 24:28 in proper context as it relates to Ezekiel 39:4 and Ezekiel 39:17  and the Gog-Magog War as described in Ezekiel 38 & 39 , you cannot properly understand Matthew Chapter 24 at all. Or even Mark Chapter 13 either, for that matter.

 

Once you grasp the proper understanding of Matthew 24:28 you will see that "the tribulation of those days" (Matt 24:29) is the Gog-Magog War in Israel, "Immediatly after" which the rapture happens (Matt 24:29). You will also then see that the Gog-Magog War is "those days (of tribulation) that were shortened" (Matt 24:22)   The description of "those days" being "shortened" by Jesus coming on The Day of the rapture is in:

 

Ezekiel 39:3-4

"Then I will knock the bow out of your left hand and cause the arrows to fall out of your right hand. You shall fall upon the mountains of Israel, you and all your troops and the peoples who are with you. I will give you to the birds of prey of every sort (eagles) (Matt 24:28)............to be devoured.
