The following two Scriptures show us that the'Year of Jubilee' and the 'Acceptable Year of the Lord' are one and the same:

 

Leviticus 25:10

"And you shall consecrate the fiftieth year, and PROCLAIM LIBERTY THROUGHOUT ALL THE LAND TO ALL ITS INHABITANTS......IT SHALL BE A JUBILEE FOR YOU."

Luke 4:18-19

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me........to PROCLAIM LIBERTY TO THE CAPTIVES........To PROCLAIM THE ACCEPTABLE YEAR OF THE LORD."

 

 

The following Scripture refers to the 'Acceptable Year of the Lord' as also the 'Acceptable Time' :

 

2 Corinthians 6:2

"In an ACCEPTABLE TIME I have heard you, and in the DAY OF SALVATION I have helped you.  Behold, NOW IS THE ACCEPTED TIME; Behold, NOW IS THE DAY OF SALVATION."

 

The previous Scripture has just told us that "THE DAY OF SALVATION" (day of rapture) "IS NOW". So when is "NOW"?  It tells us that "NOW IS THE ACCEPTED TIME" which is the ACCEPTABLE YEAR OF THE LORD ie, THE YEAR OF JUBILEE.

 

COMPARETHE FOLLOWING TWO SCRIPTURES:

 

Isaiah 49:8 & 10 (Old Testament prophecy of the rapture of the Church/bride in an 'acceptable time' ie. 'Jubilee Year')

"Thus says the Lord: In an ACCEPTABLE TIME (Jubilee Year) I have heard you, and in THE DAY OF SALVATION (day of rapture) I have helped you; .........They shall neither hunger nor thirst, Neither heat nor sun shall strike them; For He who has mercy on them will lead them, Even by the springs of of water He will guide them."

 

NOW COMPARE THE PREVIOUS SCRIPTURE WITH THE FOLLOWING SCRIPTURE:

 

Revelation 7:16 (New Testament fulfillment of Old Testament prophecy of the Church/bride in heaven after the rapture) )

"They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat; for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepard them and lead them to living fountains of waters."

 

You can readily see that the prophecy of the future rapture Church/bride in (Isaiah 49:8 & 10) is fulfilled in (Revelation 7:16) when the Church/bride is in heaven after the rapture.

 

Leviticus 25:13

"In this Year of Jubilee, each of you shall RETURN TO HIS POSSESSION."

 

The Church/bride is the sole possession of the Lord Jesus Christ becaise He purchased 'her' with His blood.

 

The next Acceptable Year of the Lord, ie. Acceptable Time, ie. Jubilee Year is 1967 + 49 years is 2016.
