"THE PROPER HYMN FOR 'PALM SUNDAY' AND A CLUE........"

Dear Doves,

I believe that Jesus was giving us a clue as to the day of His return when He said;

Matthew 23:39
"For I say to you, you shall see me no more till you say,' Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!"
Luke 13:35
"Assuredly, I say to you, you shall not see Me until the time comes when you say, 'Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!"

What day was it when they said, "Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord"?

John 12:12-14 and Luke 19:37-39 and Matthew 21:8-10 and Mark 11:8-10

"The next day a great multitude that had come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem, took branches of Palm Trees and went out to meet Him. Then, as He was now drawing near the descent of the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works they had seen. And a very great multitude spread their clothes on the road; others cut down branches from the trees and spread them on the road. And many spread their clothes on the road, and others cut down leafy branches from the trees and spread them on the road. Then those who went before and those who followed cried out, saying:

 "Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the lord! Blessed is the kingdom of our father David that comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!"

That was the day of the Lord's triumphal entry into Jerusalem on Sunday/Nisan 10 which was four days before His crucifixion on Thursday Passover/Nisan 14. That day is now known as Palm Sunday. I believe that is the day Jesus was alluding to when he said: "You shall see me no more till you say, Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!"

As a shadow of things to come, Joshua delivered the Israelites from out of the wilderness into the Promised Land on the very day of Nisan 10. I believe that Jesus will deliver His Church/bride from out of the world into the Promise of heaven on a future Palm Sunday/Nisan 10.  But, it will be in a 'Year of Perfect Order' when Nisan 10 falls on Sunday.

According to Your Word, come Lord Jesus!
