"For
Elaine Shealy....living and learning..."
Hi Elaine....I'm so glad you came to the
same conclusion about the Book of Enoch that I have. It
only adds to the knowledge the bible gives. Yes, it's
strong, meat doctrine, but that's what makes us grow into mature
followers of Jesus Christ.
It really saddened my heart today to read some of the comments
by my "brothers and sisters" who have closed their minds and
hearts to all that God is trying to convey to us....and
instruction seems to be falling on deaf ears.
It reminds me of what God says in II Timothy 3:7..."Ever
learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the
truth." He was speaking of the people in the last-days
church body. So much learning done and so little knowledge
obtained. And what knowledge that is put forth and
accepted as "gospel truth" is anything but that.
For years now, since I have been a widow, I, too, have studied
the bible....including the Apocryphal books! as well. So
many things become so much more clear through doing this.
Nothing of what I have read has contradicted "canon" scripture
in any way. I don't do this an hour a day, or just on
Sundays.....my life has been the study of the bible and prophecy
24 hours a day, 7 days a week. At our age, sometimes sleep
doesn't come easy nor last very long. In my waking hours,
I am studying and reading and taking great joy in what our Lord
is teaching me. When you absolutely KNOW what the bible
says, you can't possibly be deceived!!! Enjoy all the
increased knowledge and stories that the Apocrypha brings to
you....it's totally wonderful!
And again, thank you for letting me know that I reached at least
one person more in my lifetime...
Prayerfully, see you on the way up, my dear "sister"...
