"Thanks for the witness for the pets...."

For Jan and Lisa Taylor and other animal lovers....

Since Kasey (my beloved white Toy Poodle) left my life, I am still in a major search in what the bible has to say about our much loved pets being in heaven with us.  I have no doubt this to be an absolute fact.  Animals have "spirits" because God told us they do.  Whether or not they have "souls" like we do, it is silent.  However, I feel that an animal has no need for a soul because it's not necessary because they can't sin.  Thank you in speaking up about this great hope I have in me....they are all precious "seeds" as well.  We may see them all again next week!!  Hallelujah!!

And thank you to Patti C for bringing up the fact about our being "kindred spirits".  Many years ago, I came out of the darkness of Theosophy and the "New Age" beliefs.  There is not much I don't know about all that because it is my nature to investigate e! verything and anything that I choose to believe.  God brought me through all that....and then out of it, to Him, for just that purpose.  I immediately recognize evil when I see it...and I avoid it like the plague, and I warn others to not make the same mistakes that I have.  There is nothing like the truth to set you free.  And I will be the first to admit to anyone when I am wrong....that's the sign of someone knowing they make mistakes.  We all do until we get our resurrection bodies....soon, I hope!!

One book I read on dogs being in heaven was "Cold Noses at the Pearly Gates"....I forget who the author was, but it brought a lot of joy to my heart.  BTW, in my life I have also had a beloved parakeet named "Amos," and many much-loved cats....all whom I look forward to seeing again by God's grace and love.  But it was Kasey who made me want to get up each morning for almost 17 years.

An added notation for Michael Colunga, who! m I respect a great deal.  You said you will not read the Book of Enoch because it is not a part of the "canon."  Who determined the "canon"?  If fallible "man" tells me that certain books shouldn't be a part of what God has to tell us, this should not be a mandate for us.  Certain books, like Jasher and Enoch, are even told to us by God that they should be paid attention to.  It all comes down to us using our own common sense....which God gave us.

One verse that people don't seem to realize when it comes to the "evil" in this present world....Isaiah 45:7 says, "I form the light, and create darkness:  I make peace, and CREATE EVIL:  I the Lord do all these things."  Everything is made, done, and created by God.....everything.  It's His "creation" that makes choices whether they be human beings or angels.  They will suffer, or receive reward for these choices.  But it all comes down to Romans 8:28..."And we know t! hat ALL things work together for good to them that love God, and to the! m who are the called (us) according to HIS purpose."

And in His wisdom, I place all my faith and trust....nobody else.

With much agape love,

Arlene
