"Mike W Re: "
Revelation 7:11 not the church""
Mike,
This is a good observation. Nowhere in Paul's epistles or the
general epistles except Ja. 5: 2 does it refer to clothing
pertaining to salvation and righteousness.
This is obviously an old Testament faith and works salvation AND
Jewish/ Tribulation salvation by faith and perseverance
attribute which would make Revelation non-applicable to the
present church. Note the context of the verses and that most are
all Prophetic and post-Rapture/ future.
Raiment, garments, Robes, White, et. all pertaining to:

adorneth herself with her jewels.
Is. 22: 21

and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall
be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee,
and I will clothe thee with change of raiment.
Ja.5: 2
2 Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten.
Rev. 3: 4-5
