Thanks Mike for another excellent example..got your back...the best way to access  the summary of the disputation on this issue is this: At the Judgement seat of Christ, occurring shortly after the rapture of the church, Paul states that anything that remains after the test of fire will determine the reward. If we built our efforts and daily walk on a false assumption, then we must wonder what will make it through the fire. Will it just be a " bare minimum" salvation, or a " esteemed and honored " salvation.
It is up to the Christian to determine what will enhance,  barely justify, be considered redundant, or harm their trial through the judgement seat. And when inquired of, you'd better not be quoting from the wrong book.
