Obama has been in office for almost 6 years now. 2 more years and he will be out of office. He's been in longer than the False Messiah will reign in power, proving that no one because False Messiah by becoming President of the USA. I shouldn't have to stop and say that, but some Americans are so USA-centric they think if it is not happening here, it is not happening.
The False Messiah will
- Reign over the whole world, not just the USA
- Reign for 42 months and then Armeggedon.
- Come from the EASTERN Hemisphere, probably the Old Roman Empire.
- Will cause the whole world to think he is a man of peace and solving all the world's problems.
Obama fits none of these. As for being the most popular man ever, nope, not hardly. He won re-election with less of the vote (51.1%) in 2012 than he won the first term (53% in 2008). On the plus side, he is the first Democrat since LBJ to get a majority of the vote, since even winners like Carter and Clinton got less than 50%. And he could have lost his own party's nomination. A few people opposed him in a few 2012 primaries, and one convict got 40% of the vote against Obama in West Virginia. His poll numbers are bad now, and he is not a very popular president. He just isn't someone America has looked to as the man with all the answers. The False Messiah will be FAR MORE popular than Obama is.
I know there are some people who think perhaps he will rise to reign at some later date, and being president of the USA is just a training ground for that. But I just don't think he is popular enough within his own country for that to make any sense.
Shalom,
Joe
