"The Apostle John, Methuselah and the Last Things"

Readers-

Some of this material is not original to me - some is.

I did hear a prophecy teacher recently comment on John the Apostle as being associated with the Last Things, or Last Days things. His Gospel account is last, he is named last in the inner circle of disciples, and his Book of Revelation is the last book in the Bible.

Here is what I bring to this argument:

John (meaning God is a gracious giver) is the name applied to both John the Baptist and John the Apostle.

John the Baptist is considered the LAST of the Old Testament prophets. his first mention is Matthew 3:1. his name has an in-text value of 1119.

but -

John the Apostle's first mention is Matthew 4:21. same name, different person.

His name in this verse is valued at

969

This is a famous Bible number. It is the lifespan of Methuselah, the Genesis 5 Patriarch that lived the longest. see Genesis 5:27 ; >

Methuselah is the only Genesis 5 Patriarch, to my knowledge, that dies out of order. He is Patriarch 8, in birth order, but dies ninth, in 1656. Methuselah represents the End of All Things as he dies the year of the Flood, 1656.

John appears to be associated with the number Four:

He is fourth. Jesus, Peter, James, and John.

His Gospel account is fourth. Matthew, Mark , Luke, John.

His first mention is in Matthew chapter Four.

His ascension to Heaven is in Revelation chapter Four.

Running total of all gematria in Matthew 4:21, which reaching the 4th word totals 662. This is the age that Kenan is when Enoch is "taken" in Genesis 5.
Kenan is Patriarch number Four. Adam, Seth, Enosh, Kenan.

Fourth church mentioned in the book of Revelation is Thytira.

Thyatira is mentioned Four times in the Bible.

Genesis 1:1 has seven words in it, the only prime numbered value word is word number Four (valued at 401). Four appears to be a primary number to God.

Last mention of the word Four in the Bible is Revelation 21:17, with an in-text value of 1656. 1656 Year of the Flood. i.e the Great Tribulation as a type, imho.

going on:

In December 1997, the Lord spoke to me and said that John's three letters, that come before Jude, were primarily written for Saints who find themselves in the Great Tribulation period.

I conjecture then, that this is why the term "Anti-christ" ONLY appears in these books, 1 John and 2 John.

Jesus is Lord.
