Hi Mike W....I know exactly where you are coming from because not very long ago, I was there (in part) as well.  At that time Bruce Warner (I think it was him) and I had a loquacious argument when I declared vehemently that I was not a Jew!!  He said all who are saved are "Jews."  I denied it.  Then, I went back to the bible, and I found I was absolutely wrong!!  Bruce was absolutely correct.  I can't begin to tell you how much this lesson taught me.

So, I am passing on what I learned from Bruce and the Bible so that you, also, can be blessed by knowing the truth.........


This is all from Scripture alone.  My own interpretations are in brackets:



Romans 9:29..."But he is NOT a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh.  (vs 30)...But he is a JEW, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter;  which praise is not of men, but of God."

[If you are a Christian, you are a (spiritual) JEW because of the inward circumcision made by God.  And by this definition from the Bible alone....even a JEW who is unsaved, is not considered a "Jew" in God's eyes.]


Isaiah 55:8..."For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord."  [self-explanatory]


Jeremiah 9:25..."Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will punish ALL them which are circumcised with the uncircumcised."

[ALL the unsaved will be punished during the Tribulation and wrath of God.....Jews and non-Jews alike.]


Colossians 3:10..."And have put on the NEW MAN, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: (vs 11) Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Sythian, bond, nor free: but Christ is all, and IN ALL."

[If you have Jesus Christ (Jews and Gentiles) you are saved....if you do not, you are lost.....Jews and Gentiles.]


Ephesians 4:4..." There is ONE body, and ONE Spirit, even as ye are called in ONE hope of your calling; (vs 8)  ONE Lord, ONE faith, ONE baptism, (vs 6) ONE God and Father of ALL, who is above ALL, and through ALL, and in you ALL..

Romans 2:11..."For there is no respect of persons with God. (vs 12) For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law."

[There is no separate and distinctive salvation for the Jews....now or ever.  Jesus Christ died once...for ALL.]
