When I was a very little girl, I saw this silly little movie called Oh, God! with George Burns.  And even though one would consider it unholy, still as a little girl when I thought of the Lord being there like a real person, my heart soared.   I cried and in my heart of hearts I prayed that I would know God like that face to face just like John Denver in the movie.   You see, in the movie John Denver was speaking about Him to the modern world and they all thought he was crazy.  

And now I find myself in the same place as John Denver.   People think I am crazy and making things up.   But this past weekend I went to Ventura and was walking around a nice antique store.   And that is something I love to do, as I love the retro look.   Anyways, my husband always jokes around and will buy me a gift and then say, well that is your Christmas present.   Or he will point to something very ugly and say, that is what I should buy you for our anniversary.    Well it just so happens he pointed to a George Burns doll and said, that is what I will buy you for your birthday.   Hmm, little did he know that his joke this time was actually funny to me.   And I think the joke was really from God!   Ha Ha!
