The Ewe and the Remnant
4/3/2011
A quick study:
I decided to calculate the number of days since Jesus’ crucifixion. Starting with April 3, 33 AD, the Bethlehem Star date indicated, I multiplied 1978 years times 365.25. Add to this the number of days from April 3, 2011 to September 3, 2011 (Oh wait; that turns out to be 153!). The sum is 7,226,175.
Then, I divided by 1000 simply due to the reference of a day being one thousand years. Now the number is 722.6175. So, 722 plus a remainder of 0.6175. “A remainder is sort of a remnant, I thought.” Looking at Biblewheel site, two verses are shown for a value of 6175. The first is Mat 22:6(kjv):
And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them.
Thank you, Lord.
Now, the first occurrence of value 722 as a word is “ewe” in Gen 21:28:
And Abraham set seven ewe lambs of the flock by themselves.
Only one verse has the value 722, Gen 33:12:
And he said, Let us take our journey, and let us go, and I will go before thee.
So in the two parts we have a lamb and a remnant and a journey.
Thank you, Lord.
This is how it went the first time through. I don’t know if this is the exact number of days since 4/3/0033.
An encouragement,
GM
