"Phil, "when does AC begin miracles?" My answer"

Hi Phil,
I'm enjoying this discussion because we are able to share our beliefs and are willing to learn and be corrected if there is something we have missed. So thank you for asking this:
Ok, This question is for both you, Sherry and Barry or anyone else. When does the scriptures say that the A.C. will begin to manifest or show this power or ability to do these miraculous signs and wonders? Is it at the beginning of a so called 7 year Tribulation? Or do they start at the middle or midst of that week, and why?
Inquiring minds would like to know what you think and how you scripturally back it up.
I believe the Antichrist will be revealed after the rapture according to this scripture:
2 Thessalonians 2:
6.  And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
 7.  For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
 8.  And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
 9.  Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
 10.  And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
 11.  And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
 12.  That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
 13.  But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
 14.  Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
I believe he who now letteth or hinders is the spirit filled bride and that this is saying that as long as we are here the Antichrist cannot be revealed but must be revealed in his time which is after we are gone. There is clearly a contrast here between us who are called to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ and those that perish who will believe the lies and miracles and everything that the rest of this describes.
I know that at least part of this debate hinges on the first part of this same passage of scripture that everyone has been arguing over for years and has been especially hot here on the Doves of late, and that it comes down to how one interprets Paul's use of the word "apostasia". Does he mean falling away from the faith or does he mean departing from earth to heaven?  We have all heard these arguments and I have avoided getting into the fray myself because I don't think you can really change someones mind but rather it is, in my view, deliberately made to be vague. Why? Because it separates us according to our hope. In all the turmoil over this debate, there are basically two sides or views being defended. One of those is couched in hope to be delivered before the bad things come and the other is actually looking for some of the bad things to have to be happening before we can be delivered because it sees it as saying that a departure from the faith must be going on and the Antichrist must be revealed first and begin his evil works before we can be raptured.
For me, the hope view is what I subscribe to because Paul is addressing the fears that his readers had regarding this very question. It makes no sense at all to me for Paul to say comfort one another with these words if the words he is giving are words of doom and gloom or apostasy and Antichrist being revealed and work his evil before our rapture can come. But yet there are many who wish to see it this way and for them it will always say what they want it to say and I believe God will allow them to have it their way and it may even mean that they will not be willing to believe in the rapture if it happens first and they may miss out on it because in their view it can't happen yet. All that aside,
I'll tell you what I was taught about all this years ago from Dr. Gene Scott and I still feel that this could be correct: That Antichrist will be revealed only after the church is gone but will be a peacemaker for the first half of a 7 year tribulation and at the mid point an evil spirit out of the abyss comes out of there and inhabits the man who then becomes different and goes into perdition from that point until he is destroyed by Jesus at the end. The tribulation period is unique from our appointed tribulation which Jesus said in the world we would have because in the Greek it is always with a double emphasis as "the tribulation-the great tribulation". It is only after the evil spirit from the abyss enters into the man that he can do the miracles so that would be after we are gone and he is revealed and does his peacemaking and then is inhabited by the evil spirit. This evil spirit was once at work on the earth as the power behind Alexander the Great but when he died the evil spirit was put in the pit and that is why it says he was of the five that are fallen, is not in John's day but shall arise out of the bottomless pit and go into perdition (evil deeds). This is also why the kingdom that he ruled went to his generals who ruled "not in his power". That is they didn't have the power of that evil spirit working through them. You get a behind the scenes look into the spirit world in Daniel when he describes these evil spirits fighting among themselves and against God's angels for power in this earth. The five that are fallen are all kingdoms that oppressed Israel at one point and are: Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Medo-Persia, and Greece. The one that now is in John's day was Rome. The beast which thou sawest was, is not and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit means this powerful demon prince must have been ruling over the earth through one of the five that were fallen in John's day and was currently in the pit in John's day but will in the future come back out of the pit and rule again as Antichrist. This is the meaning of one of the beast's heads being wounded unto death and being healed or coming back to life. Not a man being shot in the head because these beasts are not men but demon spirits that rule unseen. They cannot be shot in the head but are themselves a head of kingdoms of the beast. The 70th week of Daniel will be a continuation of what was going on in the earth before the church was born. Daniel 11 goes into great detail with what will happen to the Rome kingdom through history as the title Ceaser becomes in Russia Tsar and in Germany as Kaiser, finally describing one of the generals of Alexander the Great, Seleucus or the King of the North and saying out of his estate (Turkey, Iraq, Iran, Syria area today) shall rise up a vile one etc. This is the Antichrist. This is why I became very intrigued when it was demonstrated that Obama has a lineage that goes right to Seleucus. (Someone posted this lineage here before so look for it please.)
The current debate then seems to be whether we are already entered into the 70th week of Daniel and heading toward the mid point of that week or have not entered into it at all yet, correct?
That is why the question of when is Antichrist expected to begin the miracles, right? Because if he is not supposed to be doing the miracles until the last half of the 70th week, then maybe we are in the first half and Obama has been fulfilling the first half prophecies with his peacemaking efforts, right? If the AC is not supposed to do the miracles until the last half then it fits that Obama has not been performing miracles yet.
Okay, as far as I'm concerned I don't really care if we are in the 70th week now and heading for the mid point, as some argue or if Gene Scott was right and we cannot enter the 70th week but must be raptured first before any part of the 70th week can start, because I just want to be raptured period! And from where I'm sitting either way seems to suggest that we are close so who cares which view is the correct one really?
Either Obama is the AC and has been fulfilling prophecies or else things are yet still in the birthpangs stage and not actually fulfilling specific prophecies yet. Either way our departure is close and I keep watching for it in my heart and say "come Lord Jesus!"
