"WOW!  I believe I saw Comet Elenin with the naked eye."

Dear Doves,

We live in Oregon.

Last night, 9/5/11, around 11:30 PM, I do believe I saw Elenin with the naked eye.

I was asleep in bed dreaming that I had to go to the bathroom.  Someone, I don't know who, in my dream gave me a piece of candy.  It was about the size of a small cupcake.  It was chocolate covered and had a white nugget center.  Then he handed me a second piece of candy smaller and this was a Reeces Peeces, chocolate with peanut butter inside.  In my dream I took a small bite out of the Reeces Peeces and remembered I had to go to the bathroom so I put them both down on a table and woke up.

I got up and went to the bathroom and when I was finished I looked out of our bathroom window which faces East.  It is a habit I always do when I get up in the night.  (I guess I'm kind of looking for Jesus.)

I saw this sliver of light about 2 and a half to 3 inches long from my point of view in the sky.  My first thought it was Orion's sword but on further thought it was too bright for that.  I thought it might be a plane coming down or maybe even a meteor but it wasn't moving.  It was just there.

It was a string of yellow lights all connected together.  I didn't think of "comet" because it was  yellowish in color and having seen Comet Hale-Bopp years ago I remembered that comet was whitish in color.

Suddenly the thought popped into my head that it was Comet Elenin.  I quickly called Jerry, my husband, to get up and take a look which he did.  I asked him if he thought that was Elenin.  He said it could be.  I wanted to get a better look at it so I found my shoes and ran outside.  I didn't bother with a robe as we live in the country on the top of a hill and are quite isolated.  So I just ran out in my night gown.  But by the time I got out it was gone.  All that was in that spot was a really big yellowish star.  It kind of looked like the moon but was too small for the moon.  The moon was over my right shoulder glowing through the trees making it light enough to walk outside so we didn't have to use a flashlight.

The yellowish star was about a quarter of an inch in diameter and bigger than the other whitish stars around.  I am wondering if that was Planet X.  Later we kind of thought it was either the view of the Comet moving away or the front view moving towards us.  I felt bad that I didn't see the comet move or change because at that moment I was heading outside.

I came inside and laid down in bed thinking about it.  I decided to get up to see one last look at the yellowish star but it was gone from the night sky where it had been before.  If Jerry hadn't seen this with me I would have thought I dreamed the whole thing up.

This morning I thought of the dream I had just before getting up in the night to view this and thought maybe Jesus was the one giving me the "treats" in my dream and urging me to see the real treats outside.

Waiting patiently for HIS coming,

Much love,
