When I read the Old Testament where the feasts God Himself ordained for people to keep are listed, they were given specifically to the Jewish people to keep. For instance, on the Day of Atonement, when has any Gentile gone up to Jerusalem to make His yearly sacrifice? NEVER! Of the most prominent holidays there is not one which would indicate in anyway that Gentiles are, or were, to keep them. The New Testament flat out says that.
What would be more likely than not is the Lord coming back at Armageddon with His Saints on a Jewish feast day. What day I couldn't tell you, however, someone on this site has written a post that has peaked my curiosity about the Jubilee year. What year could that be? So I took a look at when that year could be.
I have read so many date calculations that my brain is fried. Unfortunately most of them are so flawed, the people doing them have simply not done their research. First of all most start with a calculation using 365.3 or so years to calculate all the way back to the times of Jesus, but the Gregorian calendar didn't even start until 1582, before that we were on the Julian Calendar, and before that the Roman Calendar. Each of these calendars were ultimately off with the Solar year and we eventually synced them to it by adding somtimes as much as a month. In fact we are currently off and talk has already been in the circles of people who deal with such matters that a correction will be made in a few years.
God knew this of course, and my thinking is that He would give even someone as lowley and dense as me, a way to know when the Jubilee would be. In 1967, a likely candidate for Jubilee year, the city of Jerusalem was liberated. If this was a Jubilee year we could go back 50 and see another major event involving Jews, and we can. The 1917 Balfour decree giving the land of Israel back to the Jews. Interesting indeed, but not enough evidence yet, lets go back anther 50 to 1867. In 1867 I found another major event involving Jews and freedom for the Jews. I don't recall it right now, but search for it on the Internet; AND, yet another in 1817.
So, I'm synced up! That places the next Jubilee event in
2017. If we are counting BACK from Jewish feasts 2017 using the
360 day prophetic years then we come to what special days?
Absolutely NONE! Perhaps the reason no one knows the day nor the
hour is that it may just happen on a regular Sunday go to meeting day.
