The peace talks...today (Thursday, September 2nd)  is Elul 23.  According to wikipedia, this is when the dove brought the olive leaf to Noah.  Fascinating.
 
Meanwhile, we wait to see what Earl does to the east coast of the U.S.
 
On August 31st the Iraq (Babylon) war is called to an end, and renamed "Operation New Dawn" by the new regime.
 
All of this is rapidly taking place right before the fall feasts.
