Ron, I found this as I
was studying various things in history regarding the holocost. I
beleive that Hitler, the persecusion of the Jews (and others), and the
subsequent liberation thereof, is a picture of the tribulation.
I found this, and thought of the promises of Oct. 29th...to eirily similar.
"Employment, housing, health, ... self-respect, and a generous old-age pension" were among the goals of the 25-point program set by the Nazi party platform of February 24, 1920. After quoting these ideals, the book Persecution and Resistance of Jehovah's Witnesses During the Nazi-Regime went on to say that "The "Declaration" agreed in general with the "principles advocated by the German government.""
I am not a Jehovah's Witness, but my mother and sister are. I find
it intriguing that many died for thier faith along w/ the Jews. The
difference was a Jew had no choice, whereas the Jehovah's Witnesses
could recant at any point, and be freed.
Anyway, there is more information here than I can possibly get through. I am glad to trust in Jesus to save...
