I have been to that cross!
 
It is hard to imagine just how large it is, since you can see if from miles away...you cannot help but be moved spiritually when you are at the foot of it.
 
All around it are lifesize statues that play out the Passion, with Scripture for each step.
 
Another statue that will break your heart is dedicated to the Unborn lost in the genocide which is abortion. Two loving hands holding a tiny infant. Breath-taking.
 
I want to go back there some day...
