After I'd sent my reply to you I reread and saw where you'd mentioned the dance. Yes, it sounds like a power struggle going on. Just stress the TRUTH, and pray against whatever is trying to influence her/you.

I've often compared the spiritual entities that linger/appear/are felt as a 'stench'. If you go into a sewer, you will come out with the stench on you. When I worked at a place that had a smoking area, I'd come home with the smell in my hair. Even though we are HIS, everyday that battle is being waged...so it is not a surprise that something can latch onto you! Especially if you are Challenging it! I think it's almost like a 'you wanna mess with me?' show to let you know 'they' are there. Just claim the Name of Jesus and bind and cast out! You are right, they are not the ones with power...but don't think that won't stop a bully. Probably really ticks him off that you and your daughter are in agreement and are a combined force.

As to the teacher and the song, I think an open declaration will help. Both you and your daughter go to the teacher, even if front of others, and politely say, 'We don't agree with the lyrics of this song, but we realize it is a required dance and will comply with your wishes'. Tell your daughter to 'dance for the Lord'...keep Him in her mind as she goes through the motions, knowing how untrue the lyrics are and praying for any young girl who feels the way this poor song represents. Give it all to God (as your Church service said)...that's probably another reason why you had this 'thing' manifest! Sounds like you have a real warrior woman on your hands! :)

Go over the 'amour' she needs to adorn herself with, and she'll be fine. Not saying she won't still have these experiences, it sounds like it's one of her 'gifts', she just needs to realize that GIFT is from God, and even though satan will try to use it against her, it is really a weapon given to find him!!
