Oh, I knew she'd never 'win'. My husband had a writer's convention in Vegas, and we saw Terry Fator's (the ventriloquist guy who won before), signs up for his show. There is no way that little girl could do a Vegas show...not with child labor laws and such. Besides, from what I've heard, when they win those competition shows, they OWN those 'winners'. One girl who got cut from the top ten in a past season of American Idol told us that Paula Abdul told her she voted to cut her, cuz she knew it was better for her career. If you watch Kelly Clarkson on anything, her spark and energy are GONE. She does not seem happy.

Anyway, the public exposure this little angel got is what was important. I think the producers did her a favor in keeping her in, knowing she'd never be able to fulfill the requirements the 'winner' must do...but they saw/knew talent when they heard it, and gave her the audience she'd not get otherwise. Kudos to them for that.

I can see her on Broadway in Les Mis or maybe even something made just for her! Awesome talent.
