"The Event tv show."
Here we go again.
Don't get me
wrong, I love TV...I'm happy there is something intelligent on these
days. I love a mystery, I love finding the clues, putting the puzzle
pieces together. I had the chance to see the pilot of this new show at
Comic Con, but I missed it. I did watch it last night.
Yes, I
pretty much figured it was going to be what I thought it was. But the
most telling thing for me? Reading the responses to the 'What did you
think?' posted on Facebook, and one person answered something to the
effect of, "keep your eyes open people, the names and places may
change, but Full Disclosure is coming!". Huh. I guess I wasn't the only
one who thought this.
If 'Hollywood' isn't doing this on
purpose...the AC sure is working overtime to get the plan laid out to
precondition all the mushy minds out there. Sad truth is, too many
people do not see it. I liken it to the Harry Potter books. I never
gave them to my kids, they never asked for them, but if they had, I
would have said no. As an adult, my daughter read them. As a strong
Christian young woman, she said herself, they are fantasy stories...but
she would NOT give them to the age they are intended for...due to the
subject matter and the state of a young, immature (in life and
Christian walk) child, they would be extremely dangerous. That's what I
figured.
This TV show is not going to 'hurt' anyone who watches
it. BUT if they are like the majority of people, it will plant seeds in
their mind...it will lead them to think a certain way.
We
already know, as with the 'witchcraft' cries they are making in the
media now over the Candidate whom Sarah Palin backed...they have no
idea what being Born Again/Saved is all about. They do not 'get'
Christianity. They are malleable, they are lemmings (just read a good
article on WND about Glenn Beck and his bipolar type teachings and how
people are blindly following him without honestly assessing what he is
saying). *sigh*
It is everywhere. On news (I've pretty much
given up on even watching FOX anymore), in TV, Movies...it's a
seriously frightening orchestrated dance of the macabre....all leading
away from Christ and toward all things 'Anti-Christ'.
Makes the words "In the World, Not of the World" so very real.
In
these last days, no matter now long they go on (when I became at
Christian 27 years ago, I honestly thought I'd never see my kids reach
adulthood, at the rate things were going)...we HAVE to keep praying and
reaching as many people as we can. We really do have an army of those
against us. So many wolves in sheep's clothing. Those who seem so
'good' and 'helpful' and 'positive' who 'preach' a message that is
going to destroy us faster than any bombs the obvious enemy could pitch
at us.
Keep looking up....I feel like the cartoon guy on the street corner with the "End is Near" sign. *sigh*
Blessings~
