"To Reva & all Doves"
Ignorance is Bliss. Or so they say.
My daughter knows the Bible better than I do, yet she too is planning her wedding (10-14-11) *on my b-day no less*.
She
also told me yesterday that she wants to start 'working on a family' on
her 1st Anniversary. I should be overjoyed...should be so excited, cuz
I REALLY want Grand kids. But, I can't help but think, 'we may not even
be here for your wedding'.
It is also difficult to even discuss
what you are thinking/feeling with most, since they either think you
are nuts, or are 'too obsessed' with 'things we just can't know'. Too
many just believe the 'no man knows the day or the hour' without really
studying what that means, and how other Scriptures actually DO point
out 'markers'. *sigh*
I just told my younger daughter, who
recently shaved her head (except for an 11 inch long mohawk) to donate
to Locks of Love, that 'since the Rapture could happen any time, be
careful with those spikes as she goes flying up, don't wanna stab
anyone with her hair! She laughed and said, 'oh, that would not be
good'....She posted on her Facebook that she doesn't fit the
'stereotype' of the Conservative, Christian, Virgin girl...which makes
her happy.
I do that a lot. Just dropping it out there for friends and family. It is sometimes very lonely.
I
think, in one way the 'eating, drinking....giving and taking in
marriage' can also mean we SHOULD just 'be about our daily life'...we
are IN the world but not OF the world. So, yes, we will plan the
wedding, I will look forward to Grand babies...Happily ever after.
As some say, "The Good Lord Willing and the Creek don't Rise".
Blessings~
