"Thank you Jill"

In watching the Way of the Master vids on Mormonism, it was really heart breaking to see the looks on the young people's faces when the truth is presented to them. How sad that a nice, 'good' young man would openly say that he 'hopes' he goes to Heaven...and the girl 'hopes' she doesn't go to outer darkness. They have no assurances...they have to keep on working in hopes that when they face Judgment they are found worthy.

How good to know that when we are Born Again, we KNOW that we are covered completely, we are SAVED. Praise Him.

I feel sorry for those who 'seem' like good people, how exhausting to have to keep up that facade of theirs. I always said, Mormons would make great Christians, if they can live such 'clean' lives on their own, imagine how great they would be actually IN the Body of Christ. So sad.

And I agree, just like the 'moderate Muslims', there are those in the LDS church who do NOT follow their tenants to the letter...like 'Christians' who believe that since the 'believe in God' and go to church, they are 'okay'. But the scary part with Mormons, if they DID know the truth, they'd run the other way, unfortunately, they don't get the whole story until they are so entangled in the cult that they really can't get out with losing everything. Also, realize that the biggest 'insurance' their church has is the fear that IF they do leave, they will be thrown into 'outer darkness', since it's only Mormons who leave who get that punishment.

We should also realize that they believe WE are the apostate religion. They think we NOT Christian, since we have not received 'further revelation'. So, when Glenn Beck says he is standing 'with' other religions, he is being a hypocrite...he does NOT believe they are 'equal'...and now, with the LDS church making 'atta boy' statements about him, we can know that he is fully doing 'good works'. That's why he's always got that bit of a smirk on his face. He really needs our prayers.

I never thought, in a zillion years that I'd be more on Al Sharpton's side than Glenn Becks! lol. In the ways of politics, government...that's different...but on things of a spiritual nature? We are NOT compatible. I think the biggest danger in what Glenn did was 'not making it political'...that means it was 'religious'. I think some Christians got involved before it was made clear to them exactly what it was they got into. They made the best of it, using the podium to speak truth...but I could see the uneasiness in Sarah Palin...I didn't get to see Alveda King, but I know her heart was in the right place. She was there to honor her Uncle's dream and express the 'civil rights' of the unborn. My daughter has worked with her, and she is a believer.

Again, thanks for backing me up...I know I'm going to read down and see some ruffled feathers, but that's just what I believe. If we look at things from a Biblical perspective, and honestly look at the Mormon church and what it teaches, we HAVE to see that we cannot 'join with' them.

Right now, Glenn Beck is a hero to the LDS cult....he's done what no one has been able to do in 200 years...he's gotten people to think that they are 'Christian'. *shudder*

Blessings~
