"The Great Deception of the Rapture Watch This!"

Greetings Doves,

There have been a number of posts within the last week concerning the rapture and possible
explanations from those left behind once it occurs. We have also read articles from
ex military brass that believe we are on the verge of some type of alien visitation/abduction.
While none of this is particularly new , it seems there has been an ever increasing volume of this type
of thinking in the media.  We can look back at such movies as The Invasion of the Body Snatchers and
see how this generation has slowly been exposed to thoughts and ideas our grandparents hadn't even
thought of. One can think of all the movies over the years that have dealt with ET's and space invasions.
We all have our favorites. Not to mention, the numerous TV shows that have dealt with this topic.
The feature films and TV series are now more realistic than ever. Not simply with the special effects, but the
plausible story lines as well. With the sophistication of these media portrayals, much more of the general
public believes that "we are not alone" and could possibly be invaded by extra terrestrials.

I believe ( as well as many of you do) the stage is being set for the Great Deception. After all, once the dust
and chaos settles after the rapture, the great minds, world leaders, and media pundits, will attempt to reason
why millions of people suddenly disappeared. While certainly some will come to faith and salvation because of
the rapture, many many more will dismiss the "foolish" theory that God somehow has delivered the true believers
from impending wrath. Satan will attempt to deceive multitudes about what really took place. Can't you see on CNN
the talking heads dismissing the idea of the rapture by shear reasoning. It may go something like this;

Larry the moderator; " Reverend , there are some folks that say this vanishing that took place was the rapture of
all true Christians. What are your thoughts about this ?"

The Reverend; "Well Larry, that is just a ridiculous argument. I am 60 years old. I have been a pastor for nearly
35 years. I have had extensive theological training and have my Doctor of Divinity. I have performed countless
marriages and baptized many more infants. Our denomination has spent millions of dollars on mission work
here and abroad. I have been a Christian all my life. I believe in God and Christ. Religion is my whole life.
Many tell me that I am one of the most religious people they have ever met. Are you to tell me, and the vast
majority of my congregates who did not vanish, that we somehow are not really Christians. We are all Christians.
We all believe in God. So lets get real. This rapture nonsense is not only unbiblical, it is heresy propagated
by the religious right, and now by what I call these crazed, 'end of the world' fanatics.

Larry the moderator; "It's hard to argue against that logic Reverend
You make a sound argument. "

In early November a major motion picture called Skyline will debut.
Here is the trailer for the movie. If the rapture indeed happens this
fall or soon thereafter, this movie may well pay an important tool
in deceiving the world about the rapture. Is it mere coincidence
that this is now being released ? Also a TV series called, The Event
will begin on NBC in October. Coincidence?

Watch this trailer. It is eerie. Oh, by the way, as you
will see at the end of it, the movie tag line is; Don't
Look Up. It's just like the Enemy to play off the Word of God.
Pay special attention to the last 15 seconds.
It will send chills up your spine.

In His wonderful name,

Steve W.
