I have immense respect for the watchers/posters/analysts on this website and am a pretrib-er and a Biblical literalist.  "Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing His plan to His servants, the prophets." (Amos 3:7)  However, we have seen dates come and go, so forgive me my FOT stubbornness.

 

Some of the dates suggested for this year are October 8, 2010; October 18-20, 2010; and October 25, 2010.  Whether something significant happens on those dates, time will tell.  It's important to stay in His Word and pray (to be counted worthy, the peace of Jerusalem, for others, etcetera).

 

There are credible people out there who believe the Rapture could happen any time due to the Bible verse that talks about "...until the fullness of the gentiles has come in." (Rom 11:25)  But consider the OMNISCIENCE of our Lord God Almighty.  He knows the end from the beginning and surely knows exactly when that "fullness" will take place.  And since He is a God of order and not of chaos, it makes sense (to me) that the Rapture will take place on the Feast of Trumpets, as that is the next festival of the Lord to be fulfilled.

 

"I am God and there is none like me.  I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come.  I say: My purpose will stand, and I will do all I please." (Isaiah 46: 9-10).

 

The next Feast of Trumpets runs from sunset, September 28, 2011 to nightfall, September 30, 2011.
