"Prayer for Patty Hayes' Father and Others"

Patty,

I pray that your father will have his spiritual eyes opened by the Holy Spirit and come to realize that God will absolutely forgive any sin that is confessed with sincerity and in repentance of heart, claiming the blood of Jesus. No one is ever too far gone for God's love. God is love and it is why he created us in the first place, to enjoy His love and share our love to Him in return. It is all about LOVE!

I hope and pray your father is given the wisdom and strength needed to accept Jesus as savior and Lord before he leaves this world. If he does accept the Lord, you will be comforted and we at Five Doves will be too, knowing another soul has joined the Church and will enjoy eternity with our heavenly Father and all of His children!

You can only do so much, Patty. The rest is up to the Lord, and more accurately, up to your father as he exerts the awesome power of free choice given at birth in this sometimes evil world. Unfortunately, many like your father, use this freedom of choice to choose options provided by demons and lost human souls instead of Scriptural choices provided by persons like yourself who are interested, through love, in his eternal destiny.

We all share in your pain knowing someone you love may perish. It is a terrible thought to internalize but sadly it is true, as you well know,  according to Jesus' own words. The gift of salvation is very great and important, provided by a loving God by sending His own Son to die to purchase. And the refusal of that gift is also very great too.

Remember, Patty, that God loves you, as a believer and follower of Christ and appreciates your prayers for your father. God will I am sure do everything He can to save him, but given the gift of free will He cannot make the choice for him, nor can you or anyone else. It is your father's choice and I hope and pray with all my heart and soul that he makes the right choice and accepts God's forgiveness and healing love.

My prayers go out to you, and all persons who are praying for loved ones to be saved. God may be crying with you, and everyone else sharing your grief, as you think along these lines, for He too shares our grief and sorrow personally.

Again, God's love is the love that started the whole creation of man and angels. He loves us so very much and He wants everyone to be saved to enjoy His love with Him. I wish there were more I could do than write this little prayer, but unfortunately there isn't. May God find a way that we do not know of to help your father in this time of great need!

With very best wishes for you and your father and all others who are grieving for lost loved ones..

Yours in Christ our awesome and loving Savior,

Robert
