THE WEDDING

 

  The culmination of human history is a Wedding Ceremony!!!

It is this reality that God has held in His heart from the beginning of time. It is the Father’s great desire to present His Son a worthy Bride.

The Bride of Christ “The Church” will be equally yoked. She will be a worthy partner and a perfect companion for His Son Jesus.

 

The whole reason we were created from the beginning of time was so that the passionate heart of Jesus would be satisfied!!! We were redeemed and adopted for a purpose, and that purpose was that Jesus might present us to Himself as His perfect counterpart, His perfect companion washed in His blood, filled with glorious beauty and made fully like Him.

 

We were created and redeemed for romance, and because of that fact, we now have the hope that our deepest longings for intimacy will be satisfied through relationship with Jesus. The fire that burned in the heart of God since the beginning is the passion to have a partner for His Son.

 

We were chosen to be Holy and blameless in Christ before the worlds were made, so we may become a Bride suitable for Him. The good pleasure of the will of God the Father was to have this kind of relationship with human beings, that He might nurture us with perfect love and prepare us to be joined to His Son Jesus in the romance of the ages.

 

The idea of our Father God being both our Father and our Father in Law is some what difficult for us who approach the Scripture with a Western mindset, and may sound in appropriate. But it is Biblical, the Wedding, the Bridegroom, the Bride, the Romance they are all in the Bible. You do not have to search too hard, read the Song of Songs of Solomon, the book of Revelation to mention just a few.

 

Beloveds let us prepare ourselves for the glorious Wedding, we have to be ready, we have to pay the price, otherwise we are found like the foolish virgins without oil and a wedding dress.  

 

"Lord, send another Pentecost to Your church in this critical hour. Prepare our hearts so that we will not reject You in the day of visitation.” Let us pray that the Holy Spirit will prepare us to be spiritually mature to walk into the fullness of our destiny in Christ Jesus. That whatever is in our hearts hindering our relationship with our Heavenly Father be removed in the name of Jesus.
