When I first learned of the "parallel" of the Jewish Feasts with Christ's 1st and 2nd Coming....(1999).......   I asked my first Baptist Minister and friend "what do you think about the timing of the 2nd Coming?"

He said "Many thought it could have been in 1988, 40 years from the creation of the state of Israel.  Some say it could be as far away as 2037......70 years from the taking back of Jerusalem in the 1967 war."

I never forgot that.........

But over the last 11 years, like alot of us, I suppose, I've seen some pretty good cases made for dates already gone by.

So, I thought I'd "throw it out there..." and ask this:

HOW MANY DOVES THINK THE RAPTURE IS AS FAR AWAY AS 2037?
(Gosh...I sure hope NOT!)

Anyway.....look at this simple anaylsis.....

Counting from May, 1948:
-40 years takes us to 1988.  NOT  (But that did explain the book "88 Reasons why the Rapture is in 1988."

-70 years takes us to 2018.  Less 7 years for the Tribulation, give us 2011.

Counting from June, 1967:
-40 years takes us to 2007.  NOT

-70 years takes us to 2037.  Boy.....that's a LONG time yet to endure.!!!


Then of course there are a number of "other" ways to attempt to calculate a date.....and we see a number of them ongoing on Five Doves: (I don't remember them all, but there are many still making a good case for yet in 2010, or in 2011 or 2012.)

Could it be:

-in the 90 day window from Sept 9 to Dec 9, 2010??  Lots of people speculating something 'big' may happen this fall.  What?  Israel hits Iran.  Iran hits Israel.  Even saw today that some 'credible retired US general' wrote a book about a BIG alien invasion next month in October. (ugh!)

Could it be.......my interpretation of the big DOW drop on Rosh Hashanah 2008, an incredible drop of 777.68 points in one day...could it "point" to Rosh Hashanah 2012???

I dunno.........anybody else feeling 'worn out?"   lol......

And yet the daily world news continues to grow and grow.....and events all around the world continue to point to a soon return.....

Heard a great NEW song last week, by Mercy Me..called "Homesick"  Words go, I've never been more Homesick....than now.  WOW.....

Another great song........7 years old now, by Chris Rice, called "Smile"  Words go,  "I just want this waiting to be over....."

AMEN!!

IN the meantime....the stock market is acting like "everythings fine" again......but Gold is telling us that many people are still worried, world-wide.

Go figure....

PS......as fall starts to come in here in central Florida.....and the heat FINALLY moderates....and the shadows grow longer.......I THANK GOD that another year begins to come to an end.......and that "I've made it another year" and that God has seen me through....once again.  I think I love Fall the most of the 4 seasons.........

It's been a very trying year.....my father died this past spring....my own health has seen more challenges this year than ever before (knee problems...ah, but I'm TOO YOUNG still for that!!  lol....)

Me?   I just want this waiting to be over........
