"Stage, not Age, of Accountability"
In regard to my last post on the children
and rapture my statement of all children going needs amending to be all
children under the STAGE of accountability. I call it the stage, not
age, because it can happen for different kids at different times. It is
the stage at which on understands right and wrong and is mature enough
to make a decision on faith and acceptance of Jesus. We tend to call it
the AGE of accountability and use 12-13 linking to the bat and bar
mitzvah ages for girls and boys respectively. But not all kids fit that
mold. It can happen to some kids at early elementary school and
some not till late middle/ early high school. Some aren't matured
enough to make faith decisions even at 14 or 15 yet others are matured
enough at 6 or 7. So yes I do think under GRACE that children who have
not matured enough to make faith decisions will be raptured along with
children and adults who are christian.
