Frank, both you and Marilyn centered in on some very important times in my opinion. December of 2012 has the attention of the world, with many cult and mystic religions focusing in on this time for the arrival of their God/Avatar/Mahdi etc…. This time is the peak moment for the great deception you mentioned, brought about by the Antichrist. The two witnesses, be they prophets of old, or the Tribulation Saints and Israel, probably are slain figuratively or literally destroyed by Antichrist at this time. Is this the culmination of his great deception; because, at their demise the whole world celebrates. This all would occur during Chanukah 2012 with 12/21/12 following a few days later. 

Marilyn, your Advent date of April 9th, 2016 does come up when figuring certain time spans. Here are two examples: 

From Oct. 8th 2012 (Shemini Atzeret) adding 3 and one half years, you come to Nisan 1 5776 (April 9th 2016).
 
A Lunar Month is exactly 29.5 days long. The Great Tribulation when Antichrist rules the Earth lasts 42 months, so (42*29.5 days) equals exactly 1239 days.

From June 5th 2009, adding 1260 days and 1239 days (42 months), you complete the full time span which ends on April 8th and the next day starts the new year on Nisan 1 5776 (April 9th 2016).
