"Another look at the timeline"
Another look at the timeline
There
is a process whereby one can figure out how something works called
"reverse engineering". The military can take a new weapon from the
enemy and use this process by tearing the weapon down to its component
parts and figuring out how it works. I would like to use the same idea
to figure out the timeline of the tribulation. I will call it "reverse
counting".
Now to do this, one must start at a point that is
established for certain. The day-counts must have a "firm foundation"
to begin with or they really become untrustworthy. Since our firm
foundation is always the Word of God, we will look there to find our
starting point for our "reverse counting".
Now, as most of us
know, the antichrist will enter into a seven year covenant, that he
will break halfway through. The bible says:
Dan 9:27 And he shall
confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the
week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for
the overspreading of abominations he shall make [it] desolate, even
until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the
desolate.
As seen in the above verse, the word "consummation" in
the hebrew is "kalah" (Strong's concordance #H3615) The definition is
as follows:
1) completion, termination, full end, complete destruction, consumption, annihilation
a) completion
1) completely, altogether (adv)
b) complete destruction, consumption, annihilation
So
this verse is basically saying whatever he does at this midpoint will
remain in effect until the end, destruction, or annihilation. To find
the point in time of the AC's destruction, we again must look to the
sure foundation of the Word of God. The bible says:
Rev 19:11 ¶
And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon
him [was] called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge
and make war.
Rev 19:12 His eyes [were] as a flame of fire, and
on his head [were] many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man
knew, but he himself.
Rev 19:13 And he [was] clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
Rev 19:14 And the armies [which were] in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
Rev
19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should
smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he
treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
Rev 19:16 And he hath on [his] vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
Rev
19:17 ¶ And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a
loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven,
Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;
Rev
19:18 That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains,
and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that
sit on them, and the flesh of all [men, both] free and bond, both small
and great.
Rev 19:19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the
earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that
sat on the horse, and against his army.
Rev 19:20 And the beast
was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before
him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the
beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive
into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
I believe that Rev.
19:11-14 will definitely establish this time period as being the second
coming of Christ, i.e. His return with His Bride in tow, all riding on
white horses. This is the great supper of God being offered to the
birds of the air. This is ...THE BATTLE OF ARMAGEDDON. Note the first
thing He does is gathers the cleanup crew (the birds of the air) for
what is certain to be a bloodbath. But before the bloodbath begins he
takes the beast and the false prophet (verse 20) and casts them alive
into the lake of fire. So here we have a firm established date for the
destruction of the antichrist and, coincidentally, his consummation. He
is consummated or consumed in the lake of fire.
Now, I am of the
belief that the fall feasts will be fulfilled in the same period of
time, in the same way the spring feasts were. I believe this day to be
Rosh Hahanah. Since the day of Atonement is completed after ten days of
final repentance, one could assume the person granting that atonement
would have to be present in the temple. And Jesus is present in the
temple, because after destroying the army of antichrist at the battle
of armageddon, he enters the temple for the final ten days of awe
ending in the atonement of Israel. Five days later He re-establishes
the throne of David and takes His rightful place on that throne for
1000 years. There you have the fulfillment of the fall feasts, all
completed in the same period of time, just as God planned.
Since we
have, I believe, established without a doubt the day of Rosh Hashanah
to be the same day that Christ returns to the earth and the antichrist
is destroyed, I think we can begin to apply some numbers to our
"reverse counting".
(Note: Before we look at actual dates, I
would like to tell you I will be using the Hebcal.com calendar, not
because I think it is absolutely correct, but because it has
established dates into the future. I do understand there are some that
count the new moon at its darkest and others that count it at first
crescent. I only do it this way to be able to count days and show
certain feast days, etc. Whatever number of days the Hebcal.com
calendar is off simply translates to all of the feast days. I hope that
wasn't incoherent.)
We know that the antichrist will rule for 1290 days from the breaking of the covenant of seven years. The bible says:
Dan
12:11 And from the time [that] the daily [sacrifice] shall be taken
away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, [there shall be]
a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
Dan 9:27 And he shall
confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the
week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for
the overspreading of abominations he shall make [it] desolate, even
until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the
desolate.
If we take the 1290 days of the 2nd half of the
tribulation period and add it to the 1st half of 1260 days we find this
time to be 2550 days long. I think it has already been well documented
through the studies of others that the tribulation runs from 2010 -
2017. I will not belabor that point.
The Hebcal.com calendar has
Sept. 22, 2017 as Rosh Hashanah. So counting back 2550 days takes us to
Sept. 29 2010. This date just happens to be the very last day of the
Feast of Tabernacles 2010, which is a 7 day feast. This is the
beginning of the count.
I believe there are two layers to this time
period of 7 years. One layer involves the Bride, the blood-bought Body
of Christ that He is going to come back for before the tribulation
begins. The other layer involves the jewish people, Israel. Now bear
with me!
We know that 7 years of 360 days each is 2520 days. "But
wait a minute!! You said it was 2550 days long!!" Yes, I did. Therein
lies the concept of the two layers. Jesus said in:
Jhn 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if [it were] not [so], I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
Jhn
14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and
receive you unto myself; that where I am, [there] ye may be also.
We
know from our studies of the jewish wedding tradition that the
bridegroom comes and steals his bride away to his father's house and
they go into a room he built on called a "chuppah". They remain in that
room for seven days and consummate the marriage. Jesus is our
Bridegroom and He will come back to steal us away to His Father's
house, and we will remain there with Him for 7 years or 2520 days.
There are no other dates to deal with as far as the bride is concerned
other than when she returns with the Bridegroom. We can establish that
date firmly based on the other dates that we have figured out. If you
start at Sept. 29, 2010 and add 2520 days, you come to Aug. 23, 2017.
This happens to be the 1st day of the month of Elul, also known as the
Month of Mourning. They blow a trumpet everyday except sabbath during
this month of repentance. This repentance lasts for 40 days. The first
30 constitute the month of Elul up to Rosh Hashanah and the last 10
constitute the final repentance and 10 days of Awe up to Yom Kippur
(Day of Atonement).
The bride stays in the room with her Bridegroom
for 2520 days and then returns to the sky above the earth on Elul 1.
Keep in mind that the tribulation period is 7 years (2520 days) long.
It is called the 70th week of Daniel.
The bible says:
Mat 24:29 ¶
Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be
darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall
fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
Mat
24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and
then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the
Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
There
is only one group of people God refers to as "tribes" and that is
Israel. Every instance in the Word that "tribes" is used, it is
referring to Israel. The tribes of the earth that are mourning are
Israel. There is a reason for that.
The bible says:
Zec 12:10 And
I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of
Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall
look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as
one mourneth for [his] only [son], and shall be in bitterness for him,
as one that is in bitterness for [his] firstborn.
They will also
realize when they see Him coming in the sky with a huge army of saints
and angels, that they have made a big mistake. They begin the mourning
immediately. This is why I believe the "sign of the Son of man" takes
place on Elul 1. It is the first day of mourning and repentance. It is
also the 2520th day since Jesus came and took His bride back to the
"chuppah" or wedding chamber. They stay for 7 years and then return as
an army lead by Messiah the King.
Note the sun darkens, moon doesn't give light, and the stars fall from heaven while it's shaking.
Isa
13:10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not
give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the
moon shall not cause her light to shine.
Also read the 2nd chapter of Joel.
Let's look at the temple now and work some numbers.
The day of Atonement requires the presence of a temple so I think we should establish the 2300 days of the 3rd temple.
The bible says:
Dan
8:13 ¶ Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto
that certain which spake, How long [shall be] the vision [concerning]
the daily [sacrifice], and the transgression of desolation, to give
both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?
Dan 8:14 And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.
So
the temple will be used for sacrifices and then the abomination of
desolation set up. According to this verse the temple will be in use
for 2300 days and then it will be cleansed. We can all agree that the
abomination takes place 1290 days before it is cleansed. Jesus walking
into the temple on Rosh Hashanah is what will cleanse it. So counting
back from Rosh Hashanah, the 2550th day, we subtract 2300 days to June
6, 2011. This just happens to be right before Pentecost on June 8-9,
2011. I find it interesting that the rebirth of the temple and its very
first sacrifice would take place on Pentecost, considering the fact
that we are the Temple of the Holy Spirit, the Church and we were
filled with the Holy Spirit on that same feast day.
Before there can
be a temple used the land needs to be cleansed. I believe Sept. 29,
2010 is the day of the Rapture/Sudden destruction and I believe this is
the day the war breaks out. I think this war will last 40 days. The war
starts as a result of the jews being told they can start construction
on the temple. This war is short-lived as I believe God steps in and
takes care of business. The cleansing of the land and burying of the
dead begins. The cleansing according to the bible takes 7 months. The
bible says:
Eze 39:8 Behold, it is come, and it is done, saith the Lord GOD; this [is] the day whereof I have spoken.
Eze
39:9 ¶ And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and
shall set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the
bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the handstaves, and the spears,
and they shall burn them with fire seven years:
Eze 39:10 So
that they shall take no wood out of the field, neither cut down [any]
out of the forests; for they shall burn the weapons with fire: and they
shall spoil those that spoiled them, and rob those that robbed them,
saith the Lord GOD.
Eze 39:11 ¶ And it shall come to pass in that
day, [that] I will give unto Gog a place there of graves in Israel, the
valley of the passengers on the east of the sea: and it shall stop the
[noses] of the passengers: and there shall they bury Gog and all his
multitude: and they shall call [it] The valley of Hamongog.
Eze 39:12 And seven months shall the house of Israel be burying of them, that they may cleanse the land.
Eze
39:13 Yea, all the people of the land shall bury [them]; and it shall
be to them a renown the day that I shall be glorified, saith the Lord
GOD.
Eze 39:14 And they shall sever out men of continual
employment, passing through the land to bury with the passengers those
that remain upon the face of the earth, to cleanse it: after the end of
seven months shall they search.
Eze 39:15 And the passengers
[that] pass through the land, when [any] seeth a man's bone, then shall
he set up a sign by it, till the buriers have buried it in the valley
of Hamongog.
Eze 39:16 And also the name of the city [shall be] Hamonah. Thus shall they cleanse the land.
First,
I find it interesting that in verse 9 it states they shall burn weapons
of war for 7 years. If you add 7 years or 2520 days to this day, Nov.
8, 2010 you come to Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement), the day God forgives
Israel, and the last day she will ever fend for herself (including
having to find firewood). This is no small matter and I believe it is
no coincidence.
So 2550 days (Rosh Hashanah) - 2300 days of the temple = 250 days
250 days - 210 days for cleansing the land = 40 days for the war of Gog/Magog
Now let's start back at the beginning of this timeline.
Sept.
29, 2010 - Confirming of the covenant - Rapture of the Church - Day of
Sudden destruction (war of gog/magog begins for 40 days) - 1260 day
count to the abomination of desolation begins
Nov. 8, 2010 - War of gog/magog ends - cleansing of the land begins for 210 days
June 6, 2011 - Temple is completed - cleansing of the land is completed - Beginning of the 2300 days
June 8-9, 2011 - First sacrifice in the new temple on Pentecost
March
12, 2014 - antichrist enters the temple and causes all sacrificing to
cease - Sets up abomination of desolation - 1290 day count to
antichrist's destruction on Rosh Hashanah begins
Aug. 23, 2017 -
Elul 1 - first day of the 30 days of mourning - Sign of the Son of man
appers in the heavens - End of the seven years or 2520 days of the
tribulation - Return of the bride and the Bridegroom
Sept. 22, 2017
- Rosh Hashanah - Destruction of the antichrist and false prophet in
the lake of fire - Beginning of the 10 days of Awe - temple cleansed
after 2300 days
Sept. 30, 2017 - Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) - all Israel is saved
Oct. 5, 2017 - Feast of Tabernacles - God dwells with us
God
fulfills the last 3 feasts in sequence. I might add a note here for
those that think the feasts should have been completed during the 70th
week of Daniel or the 2520 days. The first 69 weeks ended on the day
the Passover week began, Palm Sunday. None of those feasts took place
during the 69 weeks, so it is completely plausible that the other
feasts would not be fulfilled during the 70th week.
I hope this encourages you to continue waiting on your Blessed Hope.
Until we meet in His arms.
