Hello,
John and Doves,
I
totally believe (and this part is for Suzi) that our prayer far outdistances any
and all attempts by the enemy
to
bless themselves or curse us.
Our
prayer literally knows no bounds, because our prayer is to our Abba, Father, who
knows no bounds.
It is
written,
"I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy
name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for
thou hast
magnified thy word above all thy name." Psalm 138:2
And
again, it is written,
"For the LORD God [is] a sun and shield: the LORD will
give grace and glory: no good [thing] will he
withhold
from them that walk uprightly." Psalm
84:11
Take
heart from the words of Our God,
"So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it
shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please,
and it shall prosper [in the thing] whereto I sent it." Isaiah
55:11
In
Him,
Mike

"RE:
Suzi.....prayer request"
My children and I prayed for you this Sunday
morning. I went through a divorce in this last year and while we are all still
coping, one thing my former wife would always worry about is something
happening when I was gone. I'm a paramedic and I work 24 and sometimes 48
hours at a time.
One thing I did when I built our house was to put
little peices of paper with scripture on them into the house. In the base ment
walls and floors I put scripture about Jesus being the chief cornerstone, and
building your house on a rock, and God being the foundation. In the walls
behind the sheetrock, I put scripture about God's protection and Him being a
fortress. But to me....the favorite one of all I put in was the roof. Psalm
91......
People would come to our house.....even though my wife and I
didn't let peace reign in our lives, they would almost always take note and
speak out to us about how they felt peace, safety, like nothing would ever
hurt them while in that house. This house was outside of town and we had no
yard light. At night it would be so dark and quiet. Literally....if anyone had
taken a notion to, they could have tried to rob or hurt my family. But never
once, not even half a time, did we ever have anything stolen, or have anyone
on our property we didn't invite in over three years. Our neighbors however
didn't fare so well.
A wordly suggestion is to take self defense
classes. Possibly get yourself a tazer gun or firearm, and the PROPER training
to be proficient and safe with them. Guns don't kill. Irresponsible owners and
criminals kill with guns. Be proactive in your security. Its not. A lack of
faith.....but as they say, "luck favors the prepared". But I don't believe in
luck. And God does expect us to do our part in our lives. He won't do it
all. A wise person will prepare for things. Esp things that they fear.
Who knows, God may have allowed you to be spiritually oppressed just to push
you to 1. Seek Him more. 2. Prepare for something that may be
coming.
My Godly suggestion.....just simply type up some key scripture
on paper with some fancy font to make it look better, get some small picture
frames and place them in various rooms of your home. Put key pertinent
scriptures in each room. Then stand in the belief of those scriptures and
speak them each time you walk in that room and stand on them.
God's
word is true. It is a living, breathing entity. His word will not return
void......even when your heart may fail.....He and His word will be there to
stand for you.
