Steve and the Doves:
Steve, you said,

Wait a minute, you didn't check it from the latter end before making that your final decision.

I think Jesus was born on Tishri 1, the Feast of Trumpets, in 5 BC, and that he will become King of kings and Lord of lords on his birthday, the Feast of Trumpets, Sept. 14, 2015. The Moon was under the feet of Virgo on Sept. 4, 5 BC, as in Rev. 12. Saturn was a morning star then. It was in the middle of the sky at midnight. Jesus said he was the bright and morning star in Rev. 22:16.

It says, "I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star."

John 2:20 says, "Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days? Herod started building the temple in 20/19 BC. The 46th year would be the first Passover of Jesus' ministry in 27 AD.

Josephus said that the last Jubilee started in the fall of 27 AD. Therefore, it would end in the fall of 28 AD.

This tallies with Jesus standing up in the synagogue in Nazareth on the Day of Atonement in 27 AD to read from Isa. 61:1,2. He thus announced that the next Jubilee would start the following Nisan 1 in 28 AD.

Luke 4:16-21 says that Jesus "went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read. And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written, The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him. And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears."

Jesus was baptized near his 30th birthday, which was Tishri 1 in 26 AD.

Luke 3:21-23 says, "...Jesus also being BAPTIZED, and praying, the heaven was opened, And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased. And Jesus himself began to be about THIRTY years of age".

I think Jesus was born on Tishri 1 in 5 BC.

26 AD was the 15th year of Tiberius, who became Co-Rex with Augustus in 12 AD. I found a coin minted in 13 AD with Tiberius on one side and Augustus on the other side. They were ruling together from 12 AD to 14 AD, when Augustus died. During that time, Tiberius was the sole ruler over Judea, and Augustus busied himself elsewhere.

Augustus arranged this co-reign to assure his people that Tiberius was truly the one he chose to succeed him. He didn't want to be over-ruled in this matter after his death.

The 1st Passover of Jesus' ministry was 27 AD.
The 2nd Passover of his ministry was 28 AD.
The 3rd Passover of his ministry was 29 AD.
The 4th Passover was the Crucufixion in 30 AD.

Everything fits Jesus being born on Tishri 1 in 5 BC and Herod's death being close to Passover in 4 BC.
