"URGENT Prayer Request"

Dear Doves,

Please join me in prayer for my friend Nancy.  She has had a really bad past few years. One son was killed in a car accident, then her beloved father passed away. Then last year her husband shocked everyone by committing suicide. And if that's not enough, her last son Timothy who has been diabetic for a long time started going blind, and his liver and another organ began to fail. He has been on the transplant list for some time. She drives 4 hours out of town every Sunday, her only day off, to cook dinner for him, and take him needed things. And ever since her husband died, the small town she lives in has been ticketing her and persecuting her for everything they can think of because her land fit the grandfather clause and they want the land incorporated into the city. She has paid up to $1200 twice this year to her attorney (who is also a town prosecutor--go figure that one!) to represent her in stupid cases, like where a pack of dogs chased a new colt of one of her horses and one horse jumped the fence, getting cut up pretty badly, and she had to go to court because the horse got out of the fence.  They claimed poor fence maintainance depite her new fencing. Her problems just go on and on. Her farm house was even broken into last week, and ransacked with items stolen. But, she is learning to have faith that God is watching over her despite all this. She loves animals and helps many with rescue services.

Anyway, she called me tonight crying, and said they had the two organs her son needed, and he was being driven to the city, to the hospital for immediate transplant surgery, expected to last 12 hours! Please pray that her son Timothy not only survives, but that our gracious Lord Jesus completely heals his whole body and regains his sight.

Nancy is a baby Christian, and I have been ministering to her regularly, and gave her a new Bible last week, which she has been reading and took to the hospital with her. And praise God she is now talking to Him (praying) all the time, and He is doing wonderful things for her! I pray God does such a miracle with Timothy that it is a profound testimony to the team of doctors, nurses and hospital staff and patients of His great love.

I also pray for her mother, former mother-in-law, and her brother, who are not always kind to her, as well as the family who's loved one was on life support waiting for Timothy to get there. May God grant them special grace and mercy, and infinite blessings in this dark hour for them.

This represents a prayer request for two families that I pray our Lord will do a mighty work in. Christians still have much work to do here, because so many are hurting right now. We must occupy until He comes!

Thank you for your prayers for these lost and hurting.

God bless you all too,

Kay
