Robert Belanger and Tony Ellsworth have helped draw our attention to the story in John 7 about The Master going secretly to the Feast of Tabernacles one of the years of his public ministry, then revealing His presence, halfway through The Feast. Thank you! Halfway through the 7 days of The Feast would be day 3 going to day 4. Do we remember the design of the 7 pronged menorah? What did the center position, the number 4, represent? It was the servant lamp position, elevated above the other lamps, which was symbolic of The Messiah! The menorah would have all 7 lamps lit. Are we told to have our lamps lit? What will The Master be standing in the midst of, according to The Book of Revelation? He will be standing in the midst of the menorah! That would again imply the servant lamp, the center or number 4 position. According to the Hillel calendar the day 3 going to the day 4, the midst of The Feast, will be Tishri 17 to 18. This will be 9-25 going to 26. This will not be one of the weekly Sabbath days for Israel or days 1 or 7 of The Feast, which are like additional Sabbaths. On these days of 9-25 after sundown in Israel, into the beginning of 9-26, two men can be working in a field there or two women there grinding grain at a mill. May we be WATCHING each day for the arrival of The Beloved!
With Love and Shalom,
