"Tishri 11 to 14, Stand and Look Up Days"
Dear Doves,
We
read the following in Luke 21:28. "So when all these things begin to
happen, stand and look up, for your salvation is near." Drawing close
to the Day of The Blessed Hope, salvation is near.
With the evening of Tishri 10 become 11 for Israel, the tone changes to
joy. From Tishri 11 to 14, the succahs/sukkahs are put up all over
Israel and the world. Each is open on one side of the four. On the top
are slats. Upon the slats are loosely placed green leafy branches, to
let rain, sunshine, moonlight, and starlight in through the
interstices. What must be done to reach up and place the branches on
top of the succahs/sukkahs? It is necessary to STAND and LOOK UP!
Ironically, without knowing it, many people all over the world will do
what the Messiah/Christ commanded to do, this year from Tishri 11 to
14. The dates on the Hillel calendar will be the following: Tishri 11
from 9-18 to 19, Tishri 12 from 9-19 to 20, Tishri 13 from 9-20 to 21
and Tishri 14 from 9-21 to 22. Please read the recent posting by F.M.
Riley about "Gathering in the Corn." We have many reasons to look to
Tishri 10 to 15 this year. From Tishri 15 to 21or 22, people will
have tea, meals, and sleep in the impermanent dwellings they have made.
Soon is The Day of Separation, between the Heaven dwellers and the
earth dwellers, like succah/sukkah dwellers. The Season of Our Joy is
near, almost here! Come Quickly, Lord...
With Love and Shalom,
Jean
