We are reaching out to the homeless and praying over areas, we go up above the city and pray.
One of the places we went to is Saddle Rock which is about 1,000 feet, I think directly above the city.
In this picture you can not see the 6,000 foot mountains directly behind it.
To give you perspective, the horns on this rock are about 70 feet high.
It was a place that the Indians held rituals, possibly sacrifices which appear to have effected this valley till this day.
We chose to see it as the Mercy seat between the horns and cast down strongholds from there.
Below it is a sweeping panorama of the city as the great Columbia river silently makes a huge curve thru the valley.
The next day this rock was surrounded by clouds except for the area of the rock.
There is also a huge rock formation that I will share later to the left of this that looks like the face of Jesus that others also recognize.
It too was framed just right with clouds.
On the way home over the steep Cascade mountains the was a long ribbon of clouds that clung half way up the mountains looking so much like stretched out thorns as is clung to the steep gulleys and ridges that plummeted down the mountains.
It was such a beautiful site but I have no picture to share.
God does speak to us in the clouds.
