The name of the city! A major earthquake and no one is killed?

The devastation is huge and yet no one died. Could this be a warning to the sudden global destruction where Christ's Church will not be harmed .. just as happened here?

Could 9/11 have been a warning to this as well?

If we are in birth pains and it is obvious that we are than this event and this date seems very significant to me.
