"Pain and Purification Dilemma of Letter from Reva"
Dear John,
I have spent all weekend
thinking about Reva's letter regarding the dilemma of Living and
Watching and I feel moved to reply to her!
As the years,
learning and "watching" the world events and with the Holy Spirit to
enlighten us, it seems to me that there is a continual renewal and
painful sifting process going on in each of our souls, in different
ways.
Through your Faithfulness John of your site,
it seems to me that we are meant to be here to encourage each other
because it IS sometimes LONELY! When the world is a you say wrapped up
in "living" we are wrapped up in Jesus and His Will and the coming
trauma and joy that is on the horizon, to the world. People
do tend to look on us as "weird" but who cares? If they are secretly
laughing at us now, will they be laughing after the Rapture? We know
that when we come Face to Face with Jesus, we do not want to be found
wanting. O Lord, give us strength and Your wisdom to see our way
through each day.
I do sometimes think, "what's the point?
of whatever needs replacing or mending? we are not going to here THAT
long!!" like five or ten years....etc.
I even, look in my kitchen
cupboard and think, shall I stock up,(incase of WW3?) or shall I use up
my stock for we might not be here that long?!!
I have been
thinking that IF this years Fall Feasts all expire with no Rapture, we
must not lose heart, because, He is testing our resilience! there is
always pain in purification, we may, or rather you, have worked
out the Day but, it does say that The Day and Hour shall be known by
None but the Father? and He could change it at anytime for any reason?
Considering He is a Merciful and Loving God. Our longing is good for
us, and for our purification! Who is worthy?
I feel like I am waiting for a taxi, and it is taking it's time in arriving! But, HE WILL come to Collect us, that we know!
