He are the Divine Authority on Earth in our Time) so the word from God, can

Thanks Jan for pointing that out. I would
agree with you that we should do the will of God with the help of the Holy
Spirit as doers of the word and not as hearers only. Our Lord Jesus also said in John 4:34, "My meat is to do the will of him (God, the
Father) and to finish his work." So likewise we should also want to do the
Lord's will which is contained in the Body of the Bible which is also
called the word of God, and our Lord Jesus is also called THE WORD. So we
should take daily spiritual nourishment from the Body of the Bible, the
word of God, because our Lord Jesus Christ said according to John 6:63, "It is
the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words I
speak unto you, they are spirit and they are life."
However, to take it one step further, we drink the blood of
Jesus everytime we ask God forgiveness for our sins, and He is faithful and
just to forgive us our sins and the blood of his Son, Jesus Christ,
cleanses us from all unrighteousness and sin. (Please read 1 John
1:5-10). So we have daily communion with our Lord when we ask forgiveness
for our sins by admitting the truth to Him and the blood of Jesus Christ
cleanses us from unrighteousness and sin, and also when we daily partake of the
word of God, and understand it with the help of the Holy Spirit so that we live
it out in our lives as an example to others.
