Before reading "The Doves" article on the massive fish kill in Louisiana I was reading my bible Hosea ch. 4

vs 2 By swearing and lying, killing and stealing and committing adultery, they break all restraint, 

        with bloodshed after bloodshed.

vs 3 Therefore the land will mourn; and everyone who dwells there will waste away with the beasts 

         of the field and the birds of the air;  even the fish of the sea will be taken away.

vs 10  For they shall eat, but not have enough, They shall commit harlotry, but not increase;

           because they have ceased obeying the Lord.

           because you have rejected knowledge, vs 6

           because you have forgotten the law of your God vs 6

The nation that turns away from the Lord and ceases to obey the Lord, will waste away adneven their wildlife (fish and animals)

will waste away.... like the bees and now the fish.
