"Prayer Request "Karen,
Praying for your daughter. But something occurred to me while reading about her situation. I recently read an article about the benefits of sunshine (20 minutes per day with 40% of your body exposed) for a whole host of health problems. If you don’t live in a sunny area, you might consider getting your daughter on Vit D3, 4000-8000 IUs.
Also, since she is drinking through her grief this is wreaking havoc on her liver a vital organ. Sunshine might not be enough if her Liver can’t function normally. She should also get on a daily supplement of Super B Complex. Both Vit B and D assist with depression and grief.
Lastly, she should get 2nd and 3rd opinions before going under the knife. I would definitely get a second opinion from an MD who is knowledgeable about natural medicine. If a few supplements and/or a change in diet can resolve her problem, that would be preferable to going under the knife or taking prescription medicine that causes a whole lot of other complications and side-effects.
I will keep Carie in prayer.
